Latest installment of my ever-expanding belly!

Our Babymoon

In late September we went to Jacksonville, Florida to attend our friend Cheryl's wedding.  We saw this as also the perfect time for a quick babymoon: one last get away alone together before baby arrives.  We decided to stay two nights at a bed and breakfast in St. Augustine (St. Francis Inn).  This gave us just enough time to see some sites in the old town, tour the fort and the lighthouse, and spend some quality time on the beach.  It was wonderful and relaxing and all that I had hoped it would be!

For some reason, I look bigger in the day 164 pic than the day 185 pic . . . hmmmm, must have had the camera set on the "fat" setting.  Or I was just bloated -- yech! 

Cool things have been happening in the past week or so though, I now know that I am actually feeling Mini-Matt kicking around in there and the other night, he kicked or punched Matt in the head!  I guess that's what he gets for laying his head on my belly.  And last night when he was doin' his thing, I could see the outside of my belly moving -- sooooo flippin' cool!  Tonight I am officially 26 weeks!

The Changing Table Construction Begins

Our totally awesome friend Don is building us (or Mini-Matt) a changing table/dresser.  Here's the beginning -- lots-o-wood:

Four Months Post-Ellen

Christie and I at the Ellen show (I was around 6 weeks) and this evening after Chinese food; Christie is almost 39 weeks and I am almost 26!  Our hair has gotten a little longer and our bellies have definitely gotten bigger!

My 34th Birthday -- Preggers

For my birthday we went out into the woods with the pups, Cassie, Josh, and Don and had a bonfire.  We played some horseshoes, cooked on the fire (including crab legs -- they were fantastic!) and s'mores.  It was a great way to spend the evening.
